Exeter is the Regional capital of the South West and is a historical, beautiful and enjoyable city surrounded by red soiled countryside, just a few miles from the sea and sitting on the river Exe.It has the most amazing cathedral surrounded by some of the best places to eat - and with several good night spots to choose from both young and old alike can enjoy a good night out.

You can also enjoy shopping at Exeter - with several well defined shopping areas. You can be walking in a modern air conditioned shopping complex one minute and then suddenly you are in an open market or walking down cobbled streets looking at local arts and crafts. For the tourist there are good tours of the city to be had and a wander down to the quayside is very enjoyable for a cup of tea, a piece of cake and a wander along the River.
